The field camp at Bezà Mahafaly is located just inside the Reserve. Visitors are recommended to bring their own camping equipments (tent, sleeping bag, flashlight etc.). It would be helpful to have good walking shoes and a raincoat especially during the rainy season. You will need to protect yourself from the sun, and it is recommended not to forget your hat, cap, glasses and solar cream.You will share common toilet (pit latrine) and washing facilities. Solar panel provides electricity to recharge cell phones and other electrical appliances.Cooking facilities and a pleasant, outdoor dining area are available, but visitors (or their guides) need to bring their own food provisions, including bottled water. A cook is available on site if needed.There are some spots at the Bezà Mahafaly camp covered by the TELMA and ORANGE cellphone networks. TELMA signal is improved by a booster at the Camp.
